I have been thinking of doing this for a long time now.....rephrasing I have been wanting to do something about the state our world is in for a while now. What that something is I still am not very clear on however what I do understand is that there is something really wrong with the world. Please don't get me wrong here this has nothing to do with something out of a science fiction book, I mean simple things like the way we treat our peers, the way we treat women in society, the cruelty we show towards other creatures inhabiting this planet, the utter disdain we show towards our planets resources. Take down a million such examples from everyday life ranging from cursing a driver on the expressway to littering the street and I am sure most of you will find that we are anything but civilized when no one is looking.
One thing we all do, that is we all whine crib and gripe about how the politicians have ruined this country, how the babus are all corrupt and how the cops are hand in glove with the crooks (even our movies depict the same stories), but what do we do at the end of the day? Do we attempt to change anything? Or do we shrug our shoulders mutter a "aisa hi hota hai yahan" and let it be someone else's problem? Consoling ourselves with a "mere paas is ke liye time nahin hai" or a friend suggesting "kyon is musibat me padh raha hai jaane de". A few who do react are generally branded as nutcases the kind of people we cross the street to avoid.

A well known fact is whenever a government cracks down upon small crime the overall crime rate also falls. The logic is simple you stop an errant youth from breaking a windowpane you make him think twice about anything bigger, I am sorry to say this but we have not evolved to a level as a species where we don't need to be policed. So a rap on the knuckles goes a long way especially if its given in time.
